Club-Clean Announce New Affiliation with De Vere Group

Club-Clean are pleased to announce a new association with De Vere Hotels, Resorts and Venues and we are delighted to add that from 1 September 2010, our 4Ball winners can now also choose from De Vere venues, in addition to Marriott and Macdonald golf resorts.

De Vere can offer glorious golf at 11 properties with 16 incredible courses to challenge your skills. From The Carrick on the bonny banks of Loch Lomond to the beautiful Cheshire countryside at Carden Park, there’s a fabulous choice of parkland, links and woodland courses.

The De Vere group has hosted important events on many of their courses including the Ladies Scottish Open in 2008 on the Championship Carrick course at Cameron House. Slaley Hall also welcomed the PGA Seniors in both 2008 and 2009, while in September 2009 The Carrick hosted the PGA Cup. De Vere’s investment into the game has even extended to the creation of The Nike Golf Academy at Oulton Hall & Spa.

Andrew Murray Golf provides complete golf packages through golf day, clinics, tournaments, golf travel and coaching to both the corporate and individual markets. He regularly uses the Club-Clean service for his golf days.

11 June 2010 - Club-Clean new to Devon

Club-Clean welcomes Clive to the team who will be providing the Club-Clean service to golf clubs in the Devon region. Clive took early retirement a while ago but found be wanted something engaging and enjoyable to do which could also accommodate time needed for his other interests. Best of luck from everyone Clive.

17 May 2010 - Club-Clean 4Ball Promotion continues to produce more winners

Our 4Ball promotion is producing more and more winners as the season progresses. Each day that a Club-Clean operative is working, someone who has had their golf clubs cleaned wins a free round of golf for 4 at a choice of 15 prestigious Marriott or Macdonald golf venues. This weekend alone has produced over 20 winners!

We know our customers appreciate the Club-Clean service and when there is a chance to win a free 4Ball, it's even better! A recent winner wrote to us to say:

7 May 2010 - Two new franchisees trained and ready to go

We are proud and happy to welcome two new franchisees to the Club-Clean family. Trained at the office this week and ready to go are Keith, who will be operating in west Cheshire and Liverpool, and Nick and Carl in Essex.

Keith completed his training on Wednesday 5 May and was working at Eastham Lodge Golf Course the very next day. His first day working produced his first 4Ball winner, Mr Malcolm Stewart who was delighted with the service and with his win!

7 April 2010 - Successful NGCC Launch at The Belfry

Sam Torrance, Ryder Cup winner as a player and captain was joined by Match of The Day pundit Alan Hansen, top golf coach and Sky TV commentator Tim Barter and European Tour players Richard Finch and Oliver Fisher. As well as receiving expert hints and tips to improve their golf, the wounded Servicemen participating in the Battle Back scheme also enjoyed Dave Edwards' amazing trick shot show.

Club-Clean was there to lend a hand to clean everyones golf clubs and to demonstrate our support for this great initiative.

The Battle Back scheme – partly funded by Help for Heroes – is run by the British Armed Forces and encourages wounded Servicemen and women to participate in adaptive adventure training and sports, including golf, as part of their rehabilitation.

As well as give an insight into how sport plays a significant part in the rehabilitation of injured service personnel, the purpose of the Battle Back Clinic event was to help raise the profile of the National Golf Club Challenge, which will take place on the 24th and 25th of July this year, and aims to raise £1 million for the Help for Heroes charity.

1 April 2010 - Club-Clean at The Belfry for NGCC Launch

Club-Clean, Partner Sponsor for The National Golf Club Challenge, are at The Belfry on 1st April for the media launch of this event, in aid of Help for Heroes and Battle Back Golf.

The Challenge, to be held across the UK on 24th and 25th July, is a nationwide charity golf event on a scale never seen before. It's an opportunity for Britain's golfing community to come together on the same weekend to compete, have fun and demonstrate their support and generosity to the wounded Servicemen and women of the British Armed Forces.

At the Launch Day, along with Club-Clean, will be Sam Torrance, Alan Hansen (Match of the Day), Tim Barter (Sky TV) and Richard Finch (Euro Tour). Sky TV will be filming so watch out for Club-Clean on your TV.

Boom time as ultrasonic company becomes PGA Official Supplier

A company that utilises ultrasonic technology to clean golf clubs has proved it’s on the right wavelength by joining the PGA Official Supplier programme.

Club-Clean, which can clean a full set of golf clubs in minutes, operates a UK-wide network of franchisees at golf clubs on both corporate and charity golf days.

The Cheshire-based firm is the latest to become part of the PGA’s expanding portfolio of official suppliers – a network of some of golf’s most respected businesses.

Although Club-Clean is relatively young, its managing director, Simon Towers, believes it has experienced excellent growth by giving golfers a hassle-free service.

“I think our conscientious and progressive approach has stood us in good stead and helped to bring about our success,” he said.

“This new relationship with the PGA is central to the development of our business and we will be working together to benefit all parties, including PGA professionals and our franchisees.

19 February 2010 - New franchisee for Scotland

A warm welcome is extended to our latest franchisee, Ronnie, who will be operating in and around the Loch Lomond area in Scotland. Ronnie, who plays off 3, is leaving behind the world of heating engineering for a fresh start, working in his favourite place - the golf course. He joins four other franchisees working in Scotland.

16 February 2010 - Lee WestWood joins our support for the National Golf Club Challenge

As a Partner Sponsor for the National Golf Club Challenge, we can inform you that European number one, Lee Westwood, has thrown his weight behind the 2010 charity golf event, in aid of Help for Heroes.

7 November 2009 - Club-Clean Launch in the Canary Islands

Jorge Montesdeoca, the 2008 Spanish National Pitch and Putt Champion, was Club-Clean's first customer on 7th November 2009, when the company made its inaugral appearance in the Canary Islans at the 2009 Pitch and Putt Championships at Las Palmeras golf club in Las Palmas, Cran Canaria.
